Our experience has taught us to schedule in the interviews like meetings, so in most cases we limit each interview to an hour and can take place in a location of your choice. It often works best to use your workplace, as interviewees are likely to be more comfortable (and available) there – especially if they’re unfamiliar with being filmed. We’ve got our own studio too, if you’d prefer that.

Interviews are central to our storytelling approach. Our conversational, non-scripted interview style lends itself to an easy, effortless filming experience  and makes for better quality, more genuine content! While we’re on site, we’ll also shoot a bunch of supplementary (B-roll) footage too, which will set the scene and tone of your video.

Our highly skilled editors have worked on brands from Nike to Sotheby’s, and will be clearly briefed to make sure your video content fits with your brand tone of voice.

Instead of filming B-roll footage (which we would ordinarily do on location) we integrate the interviews with your own assets, providing a bank of fresh content for you to return to again and again.

Frequently asked questions.

I want to get started with Wink! How do I sign up?

Take a look at our subscription offers if you haven’t already, and get in touch with one of our friendly in-house experts. We can’t wait to hear from you!

How do you take payment for my subscription?

We take payment monthly, on a rolling basis.

Is there a minimum subscription length?

A minimum Wink subscription is six months, although we recommend signing up for at least twelve so that you can really see the benefits of 1 Wink video per week across your wider marketing goals.

What can we expect from an in-person filming day?

We want to keep things as relaxed as possible (it’s faff-free, remember?) We’ll visit you on a normal working day, and work with you to book out timed slots for speakers with minimal disruption. Usually we film a combination of interviews and supplementary (or B-roll) footage, to tell the whole story and get your personality across.

Can you film anywhere in the world?

Yes, although filming costs do not cover accommodation and travel. We’re based in the UK, so would have to arrange expenses for global travel. On a budget? Try our remote package option.

Can you provide us with equipment for remote filming?

Yes we can! Some clients prefer to use their own filming equipment and that’s great, but we are always happy to loan some of ours. (Though in that case we’ll ask for the first month’s subscription payment up front.)

Help! I’m nervous about being filmed! What can I do to prepare?

Take a deep breath and grab a cuppa – we’re not that scary really. At Wink we know it can feel intimidating to be interviewed in front of a camera, and have developed our conversational, script-free interview strategy to put everyone at ease. We want to get the best out of the people we interview; not trip them up!

Do you offer a live-streaming service?

We also have creatives in-house; would you be happy to collaborate with them?

Always! We love getting to know the whole team, and making the most of everyone’s unique talent to work collaboratively. We believe that this is the best way to produce the highest quality content and get across the ideas and passions that drive your organisation.

Can I use Wink for my internal comms strategy?

We’ve had great success providing clients with video for internal comms! All our subscriptions are customisable for internal messaging.

Is subtitling included in my subscription?

We know the importance of accessible content and do provide a subtitling service, although due to the time and cost involved this is not included in a standard subscription. We’re always happy to offer subtitling as a bolt-on, however. Get in touch with your subtitling requirements for more information.

Can my video include music?

Library music is included in the cost of all our subscriptions. Have a chat with our team if you’d like something more bespoke.

Can I send my video edit back for amends?

Two rounds of amends per video are automatically included in your subscription.

Can I share video with my colleagues?

Yes, you can share video with your colleagues via the Wink platform.

Can I download video from the Wink platform and save on my own server?

Yes you can!

How do I know my content is secure?

We take security seriously. Only you and Wink have access to the Wink platform, and your content is only ever shared with your say-so. All editing takes place directly within the platform, too, so that no other copies exist elsewhere – giving you maximum control.

Can I use my videos across multiple social media platforms?

Yes – the more the merrier! When we upload your edit we ensure the videos are available in multiple different sizes and formats, and will advise on the best platform for each.
